Life is like a boat on the open sea—sometimes calm, sometimes stormy. When challenges arise, the question is: who’s in the boat with you?

Who’s in the Boat with You?

John 1:9 tells us, “The true Light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world.” This verse reminds us that Jesus is the Light in our lives, guiding us through every storm. But are we allowing Him into our boat?

In Mark 4:35-41, the disciples faced a raging storm, and fear overtook them—even though Jesus was right there with them. When we go through life’s struggles, we must ask ourselves: Are we trusting in the Light, or are we focused on the storm?

When Jesus is in our boat, His presence calms our fears, His truth gives us direction, and His love sustains us. The world may offer temporary solutions, but only the true Light can lead us safely to shore. Let’s make room for Jesus in our lives and trust that wherever He leads, there is peace.
